Shipping and Handling
How long will it take to receive my order?
All products are made to order. When an item shows as "In Stock" it means that we have the items on-hand to make your order. Handling times are typically 7 buisness days unless specified otherwise. Once your order ships the shipping time starts. This depends on which shipping option chosen at checkout. See the "Shipping Options" section for more information on shipping times.
My order has not arrived yet
All orders are shipped from the great state of Alaska. Shipping times are typically a few days longer than you might be used to for orders shipped and received in the lower 48 states. This is especially true for USPS Ground Advantage orders, which can take up to two weeks during increased USPS work loads. Once your order's shipping label has been printed, you will receive an automated shipping notification and tracking number in your email. Please refer to the tracking number for order updates. Once the carrier is in possession of the package, we cannot control the shipping speed or guarantee the delivery date of your order. All orders are subject to carrier delays, regardless of the estimated delivery date. If you did not provide an email at checkout, you will not receive a tracking number. You can reach out directly on our website for the tracking number. 
The only shipping update I see is "Pre-Shipment, USPS Awaiting Item"
This means that we have printed your shipping label and packed your order. The next shipping update should indicate that USPS has possession of the package which registers when USPS first scans the package. However, for unknown reasons roughly 10% of USPS packages seem to miss the inital scan and do not update. Typically when this happens the tracking will start showing up once it passes through another transfer facility, however it is also possible that it does not show up until marked as delivered at your shipping address. Although frusterating for both paries, so far we have seen a 100% delivery rate on orders which missed the inital scan. If you absoultey need to ensure your package gets the initial scan let us know in advance and we will be sure to get your package handed off in-person and verify that it gets scanned in. 

Feel free to contact us if you determine that your package was not scanned in. Our standard response is to keep an eye on the tracking until 2 days past the estimated delivery date. After that period if the package has not arrived we will issue a replacement. So far we have not needed to issue any replacements as they have all shown up.
I chose USPS Priority mail but my order was shipped with economy.
If you chose USPS Priority mail but we accidently shipped via USPS Ground Advantage or First Class mail, please reach out and we will refund the difference. 

We only offer economy service for orders which qualify for free shipping. If your order qualified for free shipping but you chose Priority then it will still ship out via USPS Ground Advantage or similar service. If you wish to forego the free shipping option and use USPS Priority for a quicker delivery, feel free to remove the free shipping promo code at checkout.
Shipping options
There are typically two shipping options available at checkout, both are via USPS. Ground Advantage is the most economical option but has a wide shipping timeframe and can be unpredictable especially when USPS has a surge in workload. Priority is one step above Ground Advantage and typically has a more reliable delivery date and tracking information. We reccoment Priority for the fastest shipping, however please remember that shipping times only start once the order has shipped, not from the date the order was placed. We still need time to process/make your order before shipping.
Products and Custom Orders
How are your products made?
Most of our products are 3D printed with carbon fiber-reinforced polycarbonate. This material is extremely strong, durable, and heat/UV resistant. It is much stronger than the most commonly found 3D printer filament typically found in the industry. The most common filaments for 3D printers are PLA and PETG. If you have ever seen little colorful widgets that a hobbiest printed at home they are most likely one of these materials. Our products are not like these. You can expect professional-level quality from all of our products created in industrial-grade printers using high-quality materials. Every effort is made from design to packaging to ensure our products compete with plastic-injected quality.

Utilizing 3D printing technology allows us the flexibility to create unique products for niche markets which would not be feasable via plastic injection.
Does "In Stock" mean that it will ship right away?
Due to the 3D printed nature of our products, all items are made to order. Because of this our only option is to list our products as "In Stock". For all intents and purposes "In Stock" means that we have the materials on hand to create your order. All orders are subject to a 7-buisness day handling period prior to shipping. Ideally handling time ends up being shorter. For more on shipping and handling see the shipping section of the FAQ's.
Can you make me a custom order?
Yes, we can make custom orders. We do charge a minimum of +$20 to cover labor. 

If you need a custom order reach out to us via the  Contact page. Let us know what you want made and we can give you an accurate quote. Once you have decided to move forward you may place the order by purchasing the normal listed item. Once payment is received you will receive an email with an invoice to for the additional labor charge. Once paid your order will be made and shipped. Regular shipping rates apply.

Custom orders may take up to 2 additonal weeks of handling depending on current workload.  
Can I get a discount for bulk/wholesale orders?
Yes. If you have a need for bulk purchasing send us a message on the Contact page and let us know which products and how many you need and we can get you bulk pricing. Typically at least 10 items are needed for bulk order pricing.
Can I buy the STL file so I can print it myself?
No, we only offer physical products. All of our products were designed for use with our specific materials and printers so even if you had the file you would most likely have difficulty printing with a desktop printer.

Please do not inquire about purchasing files or licencing. 
Returns and Refunds
Do you offer returns?
All products are made to order. Because of this we do not offer returns for items after they have shipped.

There was a problem with my order and I would like a refund
We strive to ensure satisfaction with your order. If you encounter an issue and feel a refund is in order please contact us and we will do what we can to make it right. If it is determined that there is a product defect then we will require you to return the item at your shipping expense before any refunds will be released. Once we receive the item and verify the issue, funds will be dispersed or a replacement will be sent. If it is determined that the issue was user error or intentionaly damaged we may decide to reject the refund request or only issue a partial refund.
