2020-2026 Ford Explorer Cup Holder Base with LED Ambient Light Ring Kit

This LED ambient lighting kit fits into the factory center console panel on 2020-2026 Ford Explorers. The color is Ice Blue to match the rest of the vehicles factory interior lighting. On 2020-2026 Explorer consoles there is some modifications that must be made for installation. Because the LED's are build into the base of the cup holders, the old cup holder bases must be removed, and these replacements epoxied/glued in their place. The original bases are known to fail due to a design flaw. This replacement offers greater cupholder reliability and load capacity when properly installed. 

These bases do accommodate the OEM round rubber liners.

OEM Elastic band that goes around the cup holder fingers must be used.

There are two kit options:

• LED Assembly only - The LED and it's housing + Wiring for directly wiring into a power source. This does not include any form of dimming switch and if left un-dimmed will be extremely bright. This option is ideal if you want to supply your own additional electrical components.
• LED + Electronics Components - This kit includes the LED assembly, and all wiring and components required to manage the lights brightness. These components include a dimmer switch with housing, and a Buck converter with housing, and all required wiring and connectors (except to connect to power source). These components set the groundwork for any additional lighting you may choose to install in addition to this kit. This is the recommended option for the easiest install.
