This cap is designed to conceal holes in body panels that were cut by the police department when installing police equipment. The design is intended to look like a factory-installed radio antenna similar to those found on modern day cars. They are made from carbon fiber-reinforced polycarbonate. They are water resistant. They come with pre-installed 3M VHF (Very High Bond) double sided tape ready for installation. It is recommended to apply a thin bead of exterior automotive RTV silicone to the edges to provide maximum moisture resistance.

Fantastic product

I recently purchased a 2020 Ford Police Interceptor Utility that was luckily a very low mileage slick top. But had 2 holes in the roof for antennas. I resealed the holes with rubber plugs and silicone. Then put these over the plugs and it gives me even more peace of mind that the holes won’t leak. They feel extremely sturdy and the 3M adhesive is solid. I’ve driven the vehicle around with these on and they’re holding strong. I’d highly recommend these to anybody in a similar situation.

Two pack!

Looks like it belongs there on the roof. Hides the light bar grommet perfectly. I just need another CVPI to put under the second one.
